As reported on HisAir Family Life Radio/Tucson is purchasing WDRQ/Detroit from Cumulus Media. The selling price for the station is $10 million.
WPOZ/Orlando (Z88.3) morning co-host Tyler McKenzie has a role in an upcoming film for the streaming platform 24Flix. The film “Face The Beat” is about a young Christian DJ named Zack, who dreams of making it big in the music industry. He spends hours perfecting his sets and creating unique remixes that incorporate his faith. However, despite his talent, he struggles to find gigs and gain recognition.
Tyler told HisAir, “I’m excited to be serving with and learning from an amazing and encouraging cast and crew! “ God is stretching me WAY out of my comfort zone. May He be glorified in my weakness through this film!”
Tyler plays Norah, Zack’s single mom. The film started shooting this week.

Former Salem Radio Network host Larry Elder has been nominated for 2023 induction into the Radio Hall of Fame. The 24 nominees were chosen by the Radio Hall of Fame Nominating Committee, with input from the radio industry and listeners.
2023 Radio Hall of Fame inductees will be announced Monday, July 24, and honored in-person at the 2023 Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Thursday, November 2, at the InterContinental New York Barclay Hotel in New York City.
