WCLQ Launching New Morning Show
WCLQ/Wausau (89Q) is launching a new morning this Monday (10/10) hosted by Andi Miller and Peter Chagnon. Miller is currently heard afternoons on WCLQ and Chagnon, who’s been off the air for 3 years since doing mornings at WMMV/Griffin, GA (NewLife FM) joined WCLQ in Aug 2021 as Business Development Manager.
Current morning show hosts PD Mike Lanser and Emily Lamb will move to new dayparts with Emily in afternoons 2-6pm and Lanser taking will be heard Sat & Sun evenings.
Andi brings 30-years of radio experience to the show with prior time spent in the Milwaukee and Nashville markets. She is a homeschool mom of three young adults and wishes to use the morning show platform to bring relatability, transparency, and hope to the 89Q listeners.
Pete Chagnon brings 25-years of experience to 89Q Mornings with prior time spent in the Mid-Atlantic and Atlanta, Georgia markets. He is a divorced father of two teenage daughters who reside in Atlanta. It is Pete’s desire to use the 89Q morning show to encourage listeners to live out their faith authentically.
Stylistically, Pete & Andi find it humorous that their personalities are starkly different. However, they look forward to how the Lord will use that difference to minister to the listeners. Andi describes herself as more of a frenetic individual, while Pete was born with high-functioning autism.
