KTIS/Minneapolis ranks #1 again in the Oct PPM overall for the seventh month in a row with a 9.1 AQH.

Two Christian stations have already flipped to an All Christmas music format.

KFIS/Portland (104.1 The Fish) PD Chris Kelly says, “We wanted to get a head start on our favorite time of the year and with all going on in the world right now, we wanted to extend the spirit of Christmas with comfort and joy for all who would like to listen.”

And WAKW/Cincinnati (Star 93.3) made its switch early Wednesday morning.

Posted on the WAKW website – “We believe Christmas is the most joyful time of the year!”


New Christian station KWFV/Aberdeen, WA (91.5) hopes to be built and on the air by the Summer of 2024.

Cascade Christian Broadcasting President David Woods tells HisAir, “Our engineer is applying to modify our current CP with a Raleigh waiver which will boost our power to almost 6,000 watts so we are excited to be able to reach the number one “unchurched “ state in the nation with the good news and with music that’s worthy of listening to.”

Woods says the station will feature talent from Christian FM’s SmartRadio Suite.


Rev. Jim Tweeton of Cornerstone Baptist Church has launched new Christian radio station KCBJ/Jamestown, ND (90.7). The first day on air was Sept. 30th. KCBJ operates 24 hours a day with 500 watts and can be heard in a 25- to 30-mile radius from Jamestown. 

Tweeton credits Broadcast Technical Partners LLC for helping to get the station on the air.


KDSO AM/Medford, OR (The Dove) has dropped its Christian format becoming a sports betting network VSiN affiliate.


HisAir Flashback – Nov 1, 2019 – “Worship 24/7” went on the air in Central Oregon this morning at KURT/Prineville, OR (93.7 FM). i58:10 Media President David Harms (H&H Broadcasting – a newly formed LLC with David & Barbara Harms) announced this week terms to purchase the station the Class C2 FM. An LMA was put in place pending FCC approval of the sale.


Salem Media announced today a new partnership between the Salem Podcast Network and Just The News to place the podcasts of John Solomon, Victor Davis Hanson, and Bauer and Rose on the SPN Platform. The agreement will allow Salem to market and sell the podcasts to its array of advertisers and provide additional promotional support.


WOW! KAXL/Bakersfield (Life FM) afternoon co-host Aaron Perlman took 1st place in the 5k and media run at the Kern CASA Superhero run.
