K-LOVE Is On The Air in Houston

K-LOVE entered the country’s 6th largest market yesterday when it’s newly acquired KTHT/Houston (97.1) made the flip to CCM. The switch was made at 6pm Tuesday.

Educational Media Foundation (EMF) has submitted a deal worth $3.1 million to purchase KTHT from Urban One in July this year. EMF already owns KHJK/Laporte, TX (Air1 103.7) 99kw at 1990 ft that covers the  Houston-Beaumont market since 2012. KTHT was a classic country station “Country Legends 97.1. The new call are KLVH.

With this launch, K-LOVE is now on the air in nine of the top ten U.S. markets.
