SmartRadio Suite announces that The Brant Hansen Show has expanded into another Florida market on WBCG/Ft Myers, FL (Up 98.9) in morning drive.

WBCG is an iHeart Media station serving Ft. Myers, Naples and Punta Gorda, Florida (WOLZ-WBTT-WCKT-WZJZ-WCCF-WIKX-WBCG-WKII-WCVU)

After 5 years at KZTH/OKC (The House FM) Promotions Director Dusti Fansler announces she will be leaving the ministry next week.

UK based internet station Konnect Radio has brought in former Greatest Hits Radio, Wave 105 and Heart London personality John Clayton to host a mid-morning magazine program. John, who was also Managing Director of UKRD’s Star Radio in Darlington, starts his new show at the online Christian station on Monday 8/16.

Konnect Radio launched in March 2021 with breakfast show presenter and CEO Gareth Cottrell hosting the only daily live show.

“We are a Christian radio station but our mix of music and shows is unique. We aim to entertain and inform our core listeners aged 25 to 45, but are finding this is equally appealing to listeners outside that range who want to be part of a radio community.

WOW, WBCL/Ft Wayne is #1 persons 12+ in the Sp21 Nielsen trending 5.6-6.4.

Salem Media total revenue for is up 20.6% to $63.8 million, same station broadcast revenue increased 18.7% to $46.5 from second quarter of 2020. When compared to 2019 Salem’s broadcast revenue only declined 4.7%.

Greg Davis has returned to host his show “Priority Talk” on Crawford stations WXJC/Birmingham (101.1 FM & AM 850). The show, which was on the air for more than seven years, recently returned after a 2 year break.

The show airs 3–5 p.m. each weekday  and focuses on positive news with a Christian perspective.

KJIC/Houston is a nominee for “Radio Station of the Year” Inspirational Country Music awards from the ICMA. The 25th & 26th Annual Inspirational Country Music Convention & Awards Show will be held August 23rd – 26th, 2021 in Tennessee.  In addition Carla Jones is a “Radio Personality of the Year” nominee.
