WRDR/Old Bridge, NJ (The Bridge Radio) GM Robert Baltodano says March is The Bridge Christian Radio’s fundraising campaign.

Palmer Johnson has submitted paperwork to gift WJPJ/Humboldt, TN (1190) to Grace Broadcasting Services.

Slingshot Broadcasting has donated CCM WBWV/Beckley, WV (88.7 The Sound) to New River Christian Ministries.

Steven Gradick is finalizing a $50,000 acquisition of the Carrollton, GA-licensed translator W270AS at 101.9 FM from Radio Training Network.

EMF has completed a $57,000 transaction to purchase KYCM/Alamogordo, NM (89.9) from Your Christian Companion Network. EMF already owns KLAG /Alamogordo (91.7)

Educational Communications of Colorado Springs has closed a $15,000 deal to acquire KADE/Lake George, CO (91.7) from Michael Radio Group.

American Christian Radio has sealed a one-dollar deal to acquire KYAS/Artesia, NM (88.7) from New Hope Baptist Church. KYAS is currently a construction permit.

Sound of Life has officially filed to donate all its stations to University of Northwestern-St. Paul. Story HERE. This includes nine full-power FMs in upstate New York and three FM translators. The stations include WSSK/Saratoga Springs, NY (89.7); WFBG/Kingston, NY (89.7); WGKR/Grand Gorge, NY (105.3); WGWR/Liberty, NY (88.1); WHVP/Hudson, NY (91.1); WLJH/Glens Falls, NY (90.7); WLJP/Monroe, NY (89.3); WPGL/Pattersonville, NY (90.7); and WRPJ/Port Jervis, NY (88.9). The translators include the Albany, NY-licensed W235AY at 94.9 FM; the Newburgh, NY-licensed W229BH at 93.7 FM; and the Pawling, NY-licensed W206AW at 89.1 FM.


HisAir NEWS FLASHBACK – March 7, 2019 – A Worcester, MA Church has been ordered by the FCC to take their “illegally” operating a radio station (97.1 FM), and a prior station at 102.3 FM off the air. Andrew E. Lelling, the US attorney for Massachusetts, said illegal radio broadcasts pose “a potential hazard to public safety” that could “interfere with critical radio communications.”
