Northwestern Media Expanding to East Coast

The Sound of Life Radio Network, located in Kingston, NY, has filed a donation agreement with the FCC that gifts their 12 licenses and broadcast assets to Northwestern Media. Current Sound of Life employees will be joining the Northwestern Media team and will continue their work serving the Hudson Valley in New York.

“We’re excited to become part of the Northwestern Media family as our next step in continuing to bring excellent Christian radio programming to the Northeast and beyond.” said Connie VanKleeck, Sound of Life CEO. “Our mission aligns with Northwestern’s – ‘…to lead people to Christ and nurture believers in their spiritual growth through Christ-centered media.’ Our team looks forward to the support and community that will give us an even greater reach to the people of the Northeast.”

“We are honored to work with Connie VanKleeck and the Sound of Life Radio team.” said Jason Sharp, Northwestern’s Senior Vice President for Media. “We look forward to continuing the work they’ve started and impacting this area with the good news.”

Northwestern Media is the broadcast ministry of University of Northwestern – St. Paul. With this addition, Northwestern Media will operate 121 signals across 12 states.
