Longtime Moody Radio programmer Dan Craig announced he will retire this summer. Craig joined the Moody Radio team and began his role as manager of programming, where he has served for the past 13 years.

“I have never felt worthy to hold this position,” said Craig, “however, I know without a shadow of a doubt that the Lord orchestrated my coming and guided my steps every day. It has been a thrill to watch Him work through our team and, using divine appointments, He spoke to hundreds of thousands of listeners each day.”

Pictured below Moody Radio recently presented an honorary award to Craig. The Ministry Impact Award was presented to Craig by vice president of Moody Radio, Wes Ward, at the National Religious Broadcasters’ annual conference in Nashville.


Family Stations has ceased broadcasting on WFME/New York (1560 AM) as of this morning.

Since early 2021, the station has been operating under Special Temporary Authority (STA) using the West Orange NJ tower, formerly home to 94.7 WFME-FM. This relocation was necessitated by the sale of its former 50kW site in Queens during the fall of 2020, fetching $51 million.

A spokesperson from Family Radio has confirmed that the station ceased operations this morning, citing irreparable technical difficulties.


Red Street Records announces the the hiring of industry executive Jess Loper who will assume the role of Vice President of A&R and Publishing for Red Street Christian. She is the former VP of Brand Management for Toby Mac’s Gotee Records and Publishing (Emack Music), and in her new role she will manage the entirety of Red Street Records and Red Street Publishing’s Christian roster of writers, artists and music. Loper joins the staff to fill the shoes of Christian music legend and industry great Don Koch who passed away late last year. 

Red Street is home of Christian artists Jason Crabb, Consumed By Fire, Cade Thompson and Iveth Luna.

KLJJ LP/Houston/Woodlands (101.5) has added Streets of Gold to its schedule. The 2 hour syndicated radio show featuring Christian classics is now heard on KLJJ Monday thru Friday during the morning commute. KLJJ also airs Streets of Gold on Sunday afternoons at noon.

Streets of Gold has been around since 1997 and is heard on over 25 stations worldwide. The show is hosted by Larry Wayne and producer/organizer is Jack Reeves.


WPOZ/Orlando (Z88.3) will hold it’s special Resurrection Sunday Service on Sunday, March 31st at SeaWorld Park. Special music guest will be Tasha Layton.


Hope 103.2/Sydney, AUS celebrates its 45th anniversary. The station launched on March 5th 1979 on the FM band as 2CBAFM, Stereo 103. The organization is now known as Hope Media Ltd and has grown to 45+ staff.

HisAir is sorry to report the passing of veteran radio broadcaster, Ted Sauceman. Ted was 83 years old and resided in Dallas. Ted served as General Manager of Sonlife Radio at Jimmy Swaggart Ministries (“JSM”) and VP/GM of KSKY/Dallas at AMFM, Inc. He retired in 2014, after nearly fifteen years as the Dallas Market Manager for Multicultural Broadcasting.
