Congrats to KSBJ/Houston ranking #1 overall today in the Nielsen MAR PPM. KSBJ trends 7.3-7.7-7.3 (AQH Share Persons 6+ Mon-Sun 6am-mid) to land on top in H-Town.

KSBJ has been #1 in the past. In the April 2021 PPM, KSBJ was at the top of the market for the first time in its (38 year history at that time) by scoring 6.8 AQH Share Persons 6+ Mon-Sun 6am-mid under PD Troy West.

Hope Media Group Pres/CEO Joe Paulo tells HisAir, “Our team is incredibly committed and intensely focused on reaching people with Jesus. We’re so encouraged by the #1 6+ ranking, but we’re even more encouraged and energized by the opportunities this means we have to influence people.”

KSBJ PD Randy Fox says, “I work with an incredible team of talented people here who I feel blessed to work with everyday.  I can not think of anywhere I would rather be than here at KSBJ in Houston!”

Also, Eric Allen has joined the station as General Manager. Allen was formerly on the air at K-LOVE and AIR1, and Christian FM.

Southern Gospel artist Joseph Habedank was punched in the face at the product table by a man under the influence of alcohol who was brought to the concert.

Joseph tells Daywind Radio show prep, “First of all, I am ok. I have no injuries and to be honest, I’m still grateful he was there. I don’t post this for retribution or even sympathy, but to ask If you would please pray for him and his family.”

Joseph is releasing his new album “Autobiography” next week.
