WAKW/Cincinnati (Star 93.3) PD Skip Mahaffey adds a daily air shift to his duties. Skip will host M-F 9-11am on the air on WAKW and sister station WAWZ/NY NJ (Star 99.1)

Skip joined Pillar Media in Oct last year as the new Director of Programming Operations, replacing Jeff Evans who is now WayFM PD. Previously Skip host mornings at K-LOVE for 7 years.

The podcast “GPS: God. People. Stories.” from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) is set to be honored with the “Best Original Podcast” award at the 2024 National Religious Broadcasters International Christian Media Convention in Nashville. Since its launch in 2015, the podcast has garnered over 500,000 downloads, and in 2024 alone, it has reached 116,622 downloads.

“We are grateful for the more than 280 people who have shared their powerful stories on GPS: God. People. Stories.,” said Jim Kirkland, executive director of audio ministries at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. “All credit goes to our faithful Lord who has worked so dynamically in and through these people to encourage and reach thousands with the Good News of the Gospel.”

FLASHBACK – Feb 11, 2022 – After 21 years at WFSH/Atlanta (104.7 The Fish) midday personality Parks Stamper announced today she is hanging up her headphones and moving into a new season of her life.

Stamper said, “When my husband, Greg, and I prayed about accepting the position at The Fish, God made it clear that it was for a season. I had no idea that the season would last 21 years! I am so thankful to the listeners, coworkers, and sponsors for inviting me into their work and homes to see Jesus Christ transforming and literally saving lives.”
