KHCB Names New President

The KHCB/Houston Network (Keeping Him Close By) has named Scott Krus as their new President effective February 14, 2024. Scott replaces longtime president Bruce Munsterman and is a veteran broadcaster with 36 years of experience. He comes to KHCB from Moody Radio/Chicago where he served as the General Manager since 2018. He came to Moody in 2008 after directing WBNH/Peoria for 16 years. Along the way, he managed WCRF/Cleveland (Moody Radio) before returning to Chicago to assume the business administration lead for one of the largest Christian radio networks in the United States.

“It’s an honor to join this legacy ministry that has faithfully encouraged listeners in their walk with Jesus Christ for decades in Houston and beyond,” Krus said; “We hope to honor this rich history and inspire a future outreach that continues to lift up Jesus Christ and provide support for those who seek to follow Him.”

Bruce Munsterman began at the ministry over 45 years ago and has served as President for more than 32 years. He will now step into the role of President Emeritus and welcomes Scott Krus as the new KHCB President.

Mr. Munsterman says, “It has been my wonderful privilege to serve with this ministry that began with one radio station in Houston and has grown to over 60 outlets in five states as well as a growing digital presence.” Munsterman will not be leaving and will continue to be heard during the weekday morning drive time and on Sunday mornings.

KHCB is a non-profit organization which owns and operates 61 outlets in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Florida.
