Doug Hannah wrapped up his nearly 19 years hosting mornings on SiriusXM “The Message“ with his last show today.

The Message Program Director Al Skop said, “What more can be said about Doug Hannah that hasn’t already been said by ALL of you who have expressed your gratitude for his years of comfort, wisdom, guidance and companionship over the past many years?!”

Doug will continue his on-air work for KCBI/Dallas hosting middays and SmartRadio Suite.

Spanish Broadcasting System has agreed to purchase KROI/Houston (Praise 92.1) from Urban One for $7.5 million, signifying the Hispanic broadcaster’s introduction into the sixth largest market. The acquisition of KROI is one of two FMs that Urban One is divesting to fulfill the FCC’s local ownership restrictions to finalize its purchase of Cox Media Group’s four-FM cluster in Houston, which amounts to $27.5 million.

Positive Alternative Radio has been certified as a Best Christain Workplace for 2023, according to BCW’s Jay Bransford, President, and CEO.  His organization’s recent survey showed that PAR employees are highly engaged and enjoy a thriving workplace culture.
