Christmas Hope will air on stations coast to coast again this year from Christmas Eve to Christmas morning – 12 Midnight to 6am EST (11p-5a Central)

Christmas Hope is the vision of radio veterans Jim Glogowski and Don Hawkins and features fascinating interview segments, live on-air call-ins, selected Christmas music, and appropriate meditations to encourage and offer the Hope which is inherent in the message of this special holiday. Giving positive Faith-based encouragement to many who are up feeling depressed, stressed out and hopeless. But what’s unique about Christmas Hope is what happens off air. Christmas Hope offers listeners the opportunity to have confidential conversations with certified master life coaches who are standing by to take their calls and provide a friendly, comforting voice of Hope and encouragement in the night, at a stressful time of the year.
It’s the only talk show of its kind.

This year’s broadcast will air on Christian networks including The Alive Radio Network based in New York,  The Worship Channel, and Joy Christian Radio in MS. Christmas Hope has also been cleared on stations in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orlando, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Minneapolis-St. Paul and other key Salem radio markets. Christmas Hope premiered in 2020 on WABC/NYC.

Returning as host this year will be Don Hawkins joined by June Hunt. Audio will be available on the iHeart Radio App and the TuneIn app.

Moody Radio announces some changes.

Reaching Your World with Luis Palau, which has been airing Monday-Friday at 7:26 a.m. CT will come to an end following its final release Friday, December 31, 2021. In its place, Moody will begin airing Love with God hosted by Andrew Palau (son of the late Luis Palau) and his wife Wendy Palau weekday mornings on Moody-1 at 7:26 a.m. CT beginning Monday, January 3, 2022. Also, Moody will add the one-minute version of Parenting Today’s Teens with Mark Gregston at 7:27 a.m. CT to fill out that two-minute time slot on Moody-1.

Also, Moody Radio’s Production team has produced a new radio special, MBI Excerpts from Handel’s Messiah. This 54-minute special will not be broadcast on Moody-1, but is now available to all stations via FTP. For many years up through 2017, Messiah, an oratorio by George Frideric Handel, was presented and performed by the Sacred Music Department of the Moody Bible Institute. Messiah celebrates the awesome power of God and the gift of his Son, encompassing both the lyrical art of music and God’s word. This special 2021 release of MBI Excerpts from Handel’s Messiah was produced from past Moody Bible Institute Music Department performances.
