Nationally syndicated Christian radio host Hank Hanegraaff “The Bible Answer Man” announced last week on Facebook that his cancer has gone into remission. Hanegraaff said, “The bottom line is I heard a word that I didn’t think I would hear – at least this soon. And that is the word remission.”  Hank has battled stage 4 Mantle cell lymphoma for the last 20 months.

Hank Hanegraaff serves as president and chairman of the board of the North Carolina-based Christian Research Institute. He is also host of the nationally syndicated Bible Answer Man radio broadcast, which is heard daily across the United States and Canada — and around the world via the Internet at www.equip.org.

TWR’s national partner in Malawi went to its listeners when help was needed to set up a new FM station, and the listeners rose to the challenge.

That’s impressive and commendable for any broadcasting ministry, but it’s especially noteworthy in a developing country where poverty is widespread. But limited financial circumstances couldn’t deter the motivated supporters of TWR Malawi, more than 1,300 of whom answered the appeal to add an 11th FM transmitter to the ministry’s network across this southeast African nation.
