1-4-16news1Salem’s “Keep the Faith with Penny” Sees Rapid Major Market Expansion!

Keep the Faith™ w/Penny continues its growth into major market dayparts with its most recent midday addition to KFSH/Los Angeles (95.9 FM). Initially airing from midnight to 4 a.m., KFSH expanded Keep the Faith with Penny to Monday through Friday mid-days, (9 am to 1 pm), making the program fully occupying one-third of the KFSH weekday schedule. Chuck Tyler, Director of Programming for KFSH-FM says “Keep the Faith is a perennial home run for us here in LA!”
Keep The Faith™ with Penny debuted in Atlanta in February, 2014 as a beta test and co-production between WFSH/Atlanta 104.9 The Fish), and CharityOne, Inc. The show‘s success in Atlanta led WFSH to expand Keep The Faith™ w/Penny to a full 8 hours per day, occupying one-third of its broadcast schedule, 7 pm to 3 am, Monday through Friday.

Producer of Keep The Faith™ with Penny says, ”Penny’s show has not only changed Fish Atlanta evenings for the better, but it has transformed the entire radio station. The incredible material and calls that air have upped the game for all other dayparts. Even the callers in other dayparts are better. The ratings have been huge! After seeing the unprecedented success of the show on the company’s owned and operated station in Atlanta, Salem Music Network picked up the syndication rights in April 2015. The program quickly found a home on additional Salem stations in markets like Portland, Sacramento, Cleveland, and across the country on stations like KSGN/Riverside/San Bernardino and KCBI/Dallas. Keep the Faith with Penny is now blanketing the west coast, from Los Angeles to Portland to Riverside/San Bernardino to Sacramento.
