WKNZ Has A New Evening Personality

Greg Fentress is joining the staff of WKNZ/Milford (88.7 The Bridge) as an announcer and program host.  Fentress, formerly with Joy 102.5, Q105 and the CBN Radio Network,  will be on the air weekdays from 6pm to 9pm, originating his broadcasts from Pocomoke City, MD, site of The Bridge’s new radio station, WICO, 92.5 FM.  He will start on Monday, July 3rd, and joins fellow Joy 102.5 alum Rodney Baylous who recently joined the station. Bill Sammons, Jr, president and general manager of The Bridge, said the addition of Fentress and Baylous to the staff of The Bridge is part of the stations commitment to provide local programming and to serve the entire Delmarva Peninsula.   “Christian music is available online and via out of state networks, but there is something special about local Christian radio where the announcers live and work and worship in the community.  The Bridge exists to connect people to Jesus, and to each other, and these two men share that passion with us.  Having announcers based out of Maryland’s Eastern Shore will be a tremendous asset as we work to serve this region”, Sammons said.

WKNZ has been serving Southern Delaware and New Jersey since 2010 from studios in Milford and transmitting facilities in Harrington.  The non-profit ministry recently acquired 92.5, WICO-FM, licensed to Pocomoke and now reaches a population exceeding 750,000 from Middletown, DE south to Exmore, VA – and from South Jersey to Easton, MD. The Bridge will soon be launching a new frequency in Ocean City, MD as well.  A translator at 94.3 FM will be on the air by early summer.

Greg Fentress is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia.  He serves as Pastor of Living Waters Inspirational Church of God in Pocomoke, and has been part of the morning show on WCTG and is currently on WOWZ.
