WKAO Recovery 5K

On September 14th WKAO/Ashland, KY (Walk FM) had their first ever “Encouraging Every Step to RECOVERY 5K”.  Morning Walk co-host Magan Staten tells HisAir, “Seventy two people registered for the race and over $1200 was raised. We were able to make donations to help support the local recovery efforts of three recovery facilities in our listening area. We chose September because it is National Recovery awareness month and we know all of us especially in our listening area are affected in some way by addiction. Can’t wait to see how the Lord grows this event next year!”
