WCVO Fills Their Midday opening
WCVO/Columbus (104.9 the River) has hired Joe Cheesman as the their new live Midday host. Joe comes to Columbus via stints in Sioux Falls, Fargo, Orlando and Kansas City. Most recently Joe was at KJNW/Kansas City (Life 88.5) as APD/afternoon personality and exited in June last year.
River Chief Content Officer and Program Director, Josh Hooper, says, “Joe brings energy, enthusiasm and an innovative spirit to our at-work, at-home and during-the-day listeners, and I can’t wait for them to meet their new friend, Joe, in the Middays. Joe is going to create an interactive, entertaining and connective show we’re excited for!”
Cheesman says, “I’m glad to be back on the air in Christian Radio and excited to join the team at The River. I look forward meeting and connecting with listeners and becoming part of the Central Ohio community.“”
Cheesman’s first day on the air is Monday, June 19th. In addition to on-air duties, Joe will join the River’s other content creators with engaging social media and video content, and will assist the River’s Production and Sales Departments with commercial and underwriting production.
