WBGL Wins Podcast Award

WBGL/Champaign’s “The Unfolding” podcast has won a Gabriel Award .“The Unfolding: Page 1 featuring Joe Buchanan” won first place in the Best Podcast – Radio Award Category of the Gabriel Awards. The Gabriel Awards is an annual contest which focuses on the content’s ability to uplift and nourish the human spirit. The contest has been recognizing the best in secular and religious film, broadcasting, and digital media outlets since 1965.

Host and Creator of The Unfolding (and WBGL Middays Host), Meridith Foster shares her thoughts, “When Jason Rackow and I first began talking about the idea of The Unfolding, we knew Joe Buchanan’s story was the first one we wanted to share. We are grateful to Joe for telling his story and to the team at WBGL for helping to make The Unfolding a reality.
