On his stepping away Wayne tells HisAir.Net, “I’ve always loved radio, ever since I was a little kid. I started in 1967 as a DJ at KTIS in Minneapolis while still a student at the University of Minnesota. God has allowed me the privilege of working in Christian radio for 50 years. Serving international media at Reach Beyond to reach those through media who have never heard the Gospel has been a great way to conclude my media ministry career. While I’ll be stepping away from day-to-day leadership, I’ll be available to serve on boards, do Sharathons, speak at staff retreats and consult radio ministries that need help in building teamwork, strategy and effectiveness. I look forward to using this “4th Quarter” in more direct and more relational ministry to broadcasters.”
Replacing Wayne starting September 1st is Steve Harling.
