TWR’s Andy Napier Reaches Program Milestone
Program Producer Andy Napier of TWR (also known as Trans World Radio) on Dec. 22, 2020, will reach a milestone 1,000th original episode of his two-minute daily feature, Footsteps, from TWR. The program, which airs on more than 169 outlets across the United States, spotlights how God is working around the world through various Christian missions.
A former Moody Radio morning host in his native Chattanooga, Tennessee, Napier was honored Dec. 17 by TWR staff at the global ministry’s office in Cary, N.C.
“People listen to Footsteps and hear inspiring stories of how God is moving in the hearts of people around the world,” TWR President Lauren Libby said. “Andy does a fantastic job voicing and producing the program day in and day out.”
In addition to receiving an attractive keepsake award, Napier also took home a gag gift comprising several pairs of zany socks imprinted with pineapples, dogs, pizza and cacti.
Andy and Kathy Napier have served as missionaries with TWR for more than five years. The couple has two sons, John Edward and Samuel.
