PAR’s Brian Sanders To Speak at NRB and CLA
Brian Sanders, Positive Alternative Radio’s Executive Vice President and author of Leadership Endurance, a Christian Leadership Amazon Best Seller, has been selected to speak at a pair of significant events in 2020.
Sanders will lead a workshop session at the National Religious Broadcasters, NRB 2020 on February 27 that will focus on his best-selling book that was released on June 11, 2019. The conference is attended by more than 4,000 Christian media and church leaders.
Troy Miller, Interim CEO of NRB, asked Sanders to speak based on the popularity of the book. In conversing with Sanders he said, “I think your views and experience in empowering the leaders of today and future leaders of tomorrow will provide a powerful message for our convention.”
Sanders will also speak at the 2020 Christian Leadership Alliance – Outcomes Conference, which will be held April 7-9. He will lead a 90-minute workshop, also based on Leadership Endurance. Approximately 3,000 people are expected to be at the conference where Sanders will also be signing copies of his book.
Leadership Endurance offers a fresh perspective on the challenges of leadership and how to not only survive in the role but how to flourish and endure.
Sanders, who graduated from Northwestern State University in Louisiana with degrees in both History and English, first worked at a radio station while still in high school. During college, he became a pastor and attended seminary, where he became involved with its Christian radio station. After spending 14 years with that station, he joined PAR, whose home base is in Blacksburg, Va.
