KVNE Partners With CityFest East Texas

KVNE/Tyler and KGLY/Tyler partnered with the Palau organization to bring the largest event in Tyler history with more than 24k people in attendance over 2 days in the Tyler downtown square for City Fest East Texas. Station staff including Mike Harper, Carrie Parson , Bill Bumpas, Lynda Stringer, and Amy Austin broadcast live all weekend.

Morning co-host Carrie Parsons told HisAir, “Over the weekend, we met with thousands of people, took part in a huge evangelistic outreach and concert event to bring the life saving and hopeful message of Jesus Christ to thousands of people. An incredible number of churches and individuals came together over the course of a year to make this event a success. There were: 405 partnering churches and 1,290 believers trained to reach 37,350 people in person with the Good News. When the weeks festivities ended there were more than 1,600 documented decisions for Jesus Christ and 93,000 people were reached via live stream. Our entire region was shaken by the life-changing message of the cross!”
