Moody Radio Promotes Two

Moody Radio announced two promotions within leadership today. 

Moody Radio Indiana station manager Ray Hashley has been promoted to serve as director of radio. In his expanded leadership role, the 41-year Christian radio veteran will oversee strategic leadership and operational management for Moody Radio. In addition to station managers he will lead engineers and operators at the more than nine owned and operated stations around the country. With a focus on stewarding opportunities for strategic growth, he will lead efforts related to expansion and content for Moody Radio’s terrestrial signals along with its growing digital content such as podcasts.

“Being able to work more closely with and build into our talented leaders is both humbling and an incredible opportunity,” said Hashley. “Together, we are focused on stewarding Moody Radio’s vision to reach our core audiences via our terrestrial signals, as well as new and emerging audiences through digital channels.”

Hashley joined WGNR/Indianapolis in 1997. Hi previous radio experience included KBHW/International Falls, MN, WLJN/Traverse City, MI, and Moody Radio WAFS AM/Atlanta. 

Jamin Baxter has served as director of business development for Moody Radio from October 2017 to February 2024, Baxter was recently promoted to director of business growth strategies. In his new role, he will identify new business opportunities and implement growth strategies for Moody Radio. With the goal of ministry and business expansion, Baxter will focus on areas related to finance and underwriting, affiliate growth both nationally and internationally, as well as content distribution. Under Baxter’s leadership in business development, Moody Radio has seen experienced revenue growth year over year since 2017.

“I’m particularly excited about this new role because Moody Radio is strategically finding new ways to reach new audiences in innovative ways as well as invite them to stand with us financially,” said Baxter. “The Business Development team along with the Affiliate Relations team who I have the privilege of leading are a dedicated group of men and women and it is our desire to see Moody Radio’s mission to help people take their next step with Jesus Christ continue to expand.”
