KSBJ Welcomes Morgan Smith to On-Air Line Up
KSBJ/Houston announces the addition of Morgan Smith to their on-air team beginning Monday, April 4. Smith is the first to be hired as co-host of the new Afternoon Show, weekdays from 3pm-7pm.
“We’re grateful that God has brought Morgan to KSBJ, and excited that she’ll be part of our ministry to listeners in Houston,” says Ty McFarland, Program Director of KSBJ. “She’s a great fit for KSBJ—warm, authentic, and really loves people!”
Smith most recently served as morning show co-host on “Nelson & Morgan” on KFIS/Portland (104.1 The Fish). She is also a wife to Joshua and a mom to their little boy, Karl. Morgan’s husband is originally from Texas and the two have decided there is no better place to put down some roots and settle in near family. Smith said she loves her family, coffee and Jesus. “I can’t wait to discover Houston and spend time with my extended family,” said Smith. She is looking forward to being a part of the KSBJ family.
Morgan replaces Rachelle Reneé who transitioned to mornings teaming with Carder Price, “Rachelle & Carder”.
KSBJ is still looking to hire Morgan’s on-air counterpart to round out the Afternoon Show team.
