Focus on the Family teamed with the Clark County (Las Vegas) foster care system for a “Wait No More” event to help foster children find forever families. Sharen Ford, with “Focus on the Family’s” Adoption and Orphan Care, says while it may be a process to be screened to become a foster or adoptive parent, there’s help. “For a family who says I can’t take on an older child, you’re not doing this by yourself. There are services that will help you do that to help meet the child’s needs and to help support you,” said Ford. More than 350 kids need homes.

Bema Media is expanding their iShine countdown show to a 2-hour weekly radio show that launches on March 4, 2016. “The Big 25 on iShine Live” will feature the Top 25 Christian pop hits from all across America, along with artist features and interviews throughout.
Executive Producer Rick Welke says. “We’ve been morphing this show over the past year on Radio iShine into something special, and now believe that it is ready for radio channels all over the country,” shares Welke. “It’s upbeat, fast-paced, and champions music that Christian music lovers are gravitating towards right now, especially with more Christian CHR pop-focused stations signing on the air recently. Even though its pointed at a younger demographic, we’ve already had parents reach out to us and thank us for developing this much needed music alternative outlet. It’s already a hit!” Radio outlets that wish to carry “The Big 25 on iShine Live” or desire to hear a demo of the show can reach out to Rick Welke directly at email@example.com.
