KLJY/St Louis (JOY FM) & sister station KXBS/St Louis (BOOST Radio) have promoted Jeremy Louis to APD. He’ll also handle MD duties for Joy FM.

Current APD/MD Bobbi Mason announced she will exit the station this month to join Boxer Poet promotion.

Joy FM/BOOST Radio PD Mike Couchman told HisAir regarding the promotion “Bobbi left some big shoes to fill, and I can’t think of a better fit for them than Jeremy! He’s grateful she rarely wore high heels.”

Louis joined BOOST in 2014. He started his broadcasting career at Moody Bible Institute in 1998 as a student/production assistant. His experience also includes KGBI/Omaha (02-07) as morning show producer/staff announcer, KJTH/KLVV/Ponca City, OK (05-07) as Assistant Program Director/Announcer/Production assistant, and KLRC/Siloam Springs, AR (07-14) starting as Production Director.

Jeremy tells HisAir today, “It’s an honor to be called on the fill this role. Bobbi has done a tremendous job and deserves much praise. I’m really looking forward to the opportunities ahead to continue to encourage and unite our community while pointing people to true life change found in Christ. Huge thanks to Mike and Sandi for their leadership and confidence in my abilities.”

Mason became MD/Middays in May 2018 moving up from hosting JOY-FM’s night show. Prior to joining KLJY, Bobbi programmed KHIS/Cape Girardeau, MO.
