KKFS Wins 2019 Marconi Award
The 2019 National Association of Broadcasters’ (NAB) Marconi Radio Awards were announced Thursday evening at the 30th annual NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner held at the Radio Show in Dallas, Texas.
The “Religious Station of the Year” was given to Salem’s KKFS/Sacramento (103.9 The Fish). Program Director is Max Miller.
Max told HisAir, “First and foremost, we give thanks to the Lord. He made it possible! This is a team win. I am very proud of the team here. Impact within our community is our highest responsibility, and they delivered it. Thank you to the NAB for recognizing their hard work and dedication.”
Established in 1989 and named after inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi, the NAB Marconi Radio Awards are given to radio stations and outstanding on-air personalities to recognize excellence in radio.
