KFNW Sticker Stops

KFNW/Fargo (Life 97.9) listeners were asked to donate deodorant, body wash, and shampoo for local non-profit, Fraser, Ltd., at Life 97.9’s summer Sticker Stops from June – September 2020. These items will help children, at-risk and homeless youth, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A total of 78 sticks of deodorant, 87 regular sized bottles of body wash, and 72 regular sized bottles of shampoo/conditioner were donated. Other items collected included 51 travel-sized bottles of shampoo/conditioner, 45 bars of soap, 35 travel-sized bottles of lotion, and 52 other body care items.
 
Fraser, Ltd. is the longest serving non-profit in North Dakota. They meet the needs of children, youth, and adults. Services and resources offered at Fraser, Ltd. include independent living support, residential services, and day support services for people with disabilities; childcare services for children who are typically developing and children with special needs; and transitional youth services which provide skill training and basic needs resources for transition age youth (16-26).
 
Life 97.9 Listener Engagement Director, Carly Viland, said, “Together we can fill the gaps where there are needs in the Red River Valley area. It’s been a joy to partner with Fraser, Ltd. and help spread their mission.”
