KCBI Launching New Morning Show

KCBI/Dallas-Ft. Worth completes its talent realignment with the addition of a new morning show to be hosted by Christian radio veterans and married duo Jeremy Sweat and Caryn Cruise. “Caryn & Jeremy in the Morning” will begin on the air February 1.

“Caryn and I are thrilled to join the KCBI family, and help Dallas families wake up encouraged, while having some fun along the way,” says Jeremy Sweat, who will offer his programming expertise as Assistant Program Director in addition to hosting the show with his wife of seven years, Caryn Cruise. “It’s an honor to develop a new show, and to share life and faith with our new Dallas community.”

Cruise and Sweat have most recently served in on-air and programming roles at WFFH/Nashville (The Fish). They will relocate to Dallas.

KCBI Program Director, Kelly Corday, says she has envisioned a show featuring the two for some time. “I’ve had the honor of knowing Caryn and Jeremy for the better part of my career. Their approach to life and relationships has always inspired me, and my prayer is that our listeners receive the same joy and encouragement in knowing them.”

Doug Hannah, who has served faithfully in the morning host role at KCBI, will move to middays on the station, and Donna Cruz, currently middays, will host the overnight hours on KCBI. KCBI recently added Sonny Delfyette to its lineup for afternoons, all part of rebuilding and fortifying the team.

“This realignment means engaging talent will be heard across all dayparts on KCBI,” adds Corday. “We are thrilled to see how God is lining up the right hearts to connect with listeners at a time when so many are in desperate need of encouragement and laughter.”
