KBMQ Names New Operations Director

As reported on HisAir April 18th, KBMQ/Monroe (88.7 The Cross) has hired WFHM/Cleveland (95.5 The Fish) morning show producer/programming assistant Phil Hannon to be its new Operations Director. Phil has been with WFHM for almost 10 years. Phil will start May 16th.

Media Ministries GM Sheryl Ford tells HisAir today, “Phil brings a wealth of knowledge we find invaluable to the ministry, especially since he’ll be stepping into several immediate projects, including new studio and digital suite installs. He also demonstrates Godly character and a positive attitude, which I’m certain will enrich an already healthy workplace culture and team mindset. I’m excited to have him join us and look forward to what God has planned for the ministry in this new season.”

On the appointment Hannon tells HisAir, “88.7 The Cross has a model of “Love. Hope. Family.” I feel it’s very fitting because I am actually becoming a part of a family. Not only family that works at the station, but a large family made up of some of the most wonderful, loyal listeners anywhere. I am excited to join this talented, dedicated team, and continue with helping improve the daily operation. I’m also excited about becoming a part of the community of Monroe, my new home! I do feel God was a part of this… no doubt! I believe HE has purpose for me in Monroe. I am ready to make the transition, and get to work!”
