KBMQ Names New GM

Media Ministries, Inc KBMQ/Monroe, LA (88.7 The Cross) has named industry veteran Linda Meyers to lead the team as its new General Manager. 

Myers replaces Sheryl Ford who announced her resignation in July 2022 after more than 10 years with the ministry. Meyers brings more than 25 years of broadcast and marketing media experience to MMI. Media Ministries also owns sister-station KBYO/Monroe (Power927.FM).

“We are very enthusiastic about Linda coming to be our general manager,” Board President Woods Watson commented. “In this era of change, we are grateful to have such a creative, caring leader to help us navigate the storms ahead and lead us into a bright future as we encourage and strengthen believers in the Christian lives and introduce non-believers to Jesus Christ.”

Meyers’ experience includes producing highly successful radio shows, artist promotion, media marketing and consulting, as well as being part of founding CMB and serving as its Executive Director during the formative years of the organization.
