Jon Hull Promoted At KSBJ

KSBJ/Houston (KSBJ Educational Foundation) has promoted Jon Hull to Sr. Director of Donor Engagement at 89.3 KSBJ and 91.7 NGEN Radio. Hull most recently served as the Sr. Director of Mentoring, overseeing the program for 12 years.

“Having Jon head up KSBJ’s Donor Engagement is truly a unique advantage for us. Not only does he have the missional DNA of KSBJ running through his veins, his on-air fundraising expertise is second to none,” shares Joe Paulo, President and CEO of KSBJ. “His leadership, skills and experience will enable us to create a national model of a truly comprehensive fundraising program that serves and grows KSBJ’s support base across all levels. I’m absolutely thrilled to have him step into this critical leadership role.”

Jon Hull adds, “In my 23-years at KSBJ, I have never been more excited about the future than I am right now. The opportunity to help lead the Donor Engagement efforts here excites me more than words can express. As God opens this new door, I am excited about the growth that awaits me, KSBJ, and NGEN. I can’t wait to see what God does next!”

Hull’s radio history started in 1974 as an intern on a show called “Come Together” on WTWB. In 1976 while at Florida State University, he worked at WCVC until graduation. Jon then worked for WCIE in Lakeland, starting out as evening host and eventually becoming station manager. In 1989, he went to work for K-LOVE in Santa Rosa, CA for three years till he left to join KBIQ and The Word in Music Satellite Network in Colorado Springs, CO. In 1996 Jon came to KSBJ, where he most recently served as the Sr. Director of Mentoring.
