The Fundraiser will be on all 3 of our Christian stations that include in Sparta, TN (1050 WSMT/Sparta, TN (105.5 The One) WCSV/Crossville, TN (The One 97.7 1490 ) ans WAKI/McMinnville, TN (92.1 The One).

Longtime Christian Radio personality Doug Griffin will host that day and also be heard 6a-11a. Ronni Chase will do 11-2 and Doug comes back 2-6.

Daywind Music Publishing welcome Autumn Nelon to the family. Autumn carries one of Gospel music’s most treasured legacies as the granddaughter of Rex Nelon and a member of the beloved Nelon family. Now she’s stepping into a new chapter as a songwriter.

KWVW/San Clemente (KWAVE/ 107.9fm and 1110am) has been a simulcast since the AM was purchased in September 2023.

KWAVE PD Brian Perez told HisAir, “In May of this year we “split the signal” on the weekends. Monday thru Friday remains a simulcast, while on Saturday and Sunday, the FM is mostly still Bible teaching, with nine hours of devoted music blocks we call KWAVE Weekend Praise. The AM is billed as “Talk, Teaching and Podcasts” and includes long-form national programs like New Life Live, The Sue Fries Show, Ask Pastor Mike and Focus on the Family, along with locally produced programs like Pastors’ Perspective, He Speaks with Kate Manor, The Conversation with Roxanne Grace and Kingdom & Culture with Mike Whitford.

KWAVE was purchased by Calvary Chapel in 1985 and began as a small Christian radio station in San Clemente, CA. Today, KWAVE has grown the signal reach to include most of Southern California and has continued to build our online listening audience.

New Life Radio Russia (NLR) President Daniel Johnson says, “There isn’t a government in the world that can stop the gospel,” We will pivot and move on as always.”

In July The Ukrainian government passed a law that bans Russian music on radio and television. About 65 percent of NLR is music including worship songs in Russian. New Life Radio broadcasts from from Odessa on Ukraine’s Black Sea coast. An estimated 22 percent of the Ukrainian population speaks native Russian, with 36 percent speaking the language primarily at home. Johnson says, “I don’t want our staff busted on the air for reading the Bible in Russian.
