Lauren joined KBMQ/Monroe (88.7 The Cross) to host mornings in June this year.
KSBJ/Houston co-founder Buddy Holiday, will be posthumously inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame this November. Holiday is one of 20 broadcast professionals selected for induction in the Class of 2023. The ceremonies will be held at the Texas Broadcast Museum in Kilgore, Texas.
KSBJ signed on the air 41 years ago, July 8, 1982 with the late Buddy Holiday playing Dallas Holm “Rise Again” as the first song. Holiday, one of Houston’s best known and longest-serving morning radio personalities, ended his morning show on KSBJ July 31, 2001.

The Awakening Foundation announces artist and songwriter, Matthew West, is extending his successful “My Story Your Glory Tour” into the fall season.
