Dan Watts returns to WAKW/Cincinnati (STAR 93.3) as the Local Sales Manager and joins Pillar Media as the Director of Digital Sales. Watts served as a Sales Manager for Pillar Media from 2007 to 2015. Most recently Watts held leadership roles at Hope Media Group. He served as the Director of Digital and National Relationships for five years, followed by Senior Director of Software Partnerships for one year
In his new role, Watts leads the STAR 93.3 sales team and guides Pillar Media’s digital sales through innovative strategies while supporting each local sales team’s efforts.
“I am beyond thrilled to return to Pillar Media, where I can leverage the gifts, skills, and experiences the Lord has blessed me with to help grow revenue and expand our ministry,” said Watts. “Joining as Director of Digital Sales and also serving as Local Sales Manager for STAR 93.3 in Cincinnati is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact for the ministry.”

Pillar Media, a division of Pillar Ministries, is a group of radio stations with the mission to encourage people into a growing relationship with Jesus through media.
The KHCB Network, a Christian broadcasting ministry headquartered in Houston, announces the official launch of KLMH/Lamesa, Texas (88.5). This new Spanish-language station will feature programming from Radio Amistad, KHCB’s dedicated Spanish-language ministry, proclaiming the truth to the growing Hispanic community in the region.
With more than 12,000 residents, Lamesa is home to a predominantly Hispanic population, estimated at over 50%, making it a strategic location for KHCB’s ongoing mission to spread the Gospel through Christian radio. The addition of KLMH marks a significant milestone, expanding KHCB’s Spanish-language outreach to 18 stations broadcasting 24 hours a day across Texas and beyond.
“We praise the Lord for His faithfulness in making this station a reality,” said Scott Krus, President of KHCB Network. “Our prayer is that KLMH will become a powerful instrument for sharing God’s Word, offering encouragement to those seeking biblical truth and strengthening the Spanish-speaking Christian community in Lamesa.”

Recipients of the 2025 Special Service and Media Awards will be recognized this week at National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) . Convention in Dallas this week. The awards announced in Dec 2024, honor the most outstanding ministries, organizations, programs, and producers within the world’s leading association of Christian communicators.
Renaissance Communications, Inc. founder and CEO Joseph Battaglia (at left) is the recipient of the Milestone Award for his 50 years of continuous service in Christian broadcasting.

HisAir INDUSTRY NEWS FLASHBACK – On This Day FEB 25, 2022
WFSH/Atlanta (104.7 The Fish) midday personality Parks Stamper did her last show on the station today. The Fish staff honored her with a “Retire To Florida starter kit” and proclamations from GA. Governor Kemp and GA. Senator Miller. After 21 years at WFSH Parks announced earlier this month she is hanging up her headphones and moving into a new season of her life. Parks Stamper’s broadcast career began in 1997 after a career as a trainer in the telecommunications industry. Her passion for spreading the Gospel on The Fish in her own unique way through stories and music, has made a great impact in Atlanta and beyond with our large online listenership.
