WPOZ/Orlando (Z88.3) midday talent Denise Pagano announces she will exit the station this week, with Friday her last day. Denise’s husband has been transferred to Houston so they will relocate back to Texas.
Denise joined WPOZ in Sept 2020. Her extensive Christian radio career includes KSBJ/Houston, Moody Radio/Chicago, WYLL/Chicago, and mornings on WCFL/Chicago. Plus mainstream station CHR KHMX/Houston. Denise is available for work in the Houston market, reach out to her HERE.
South Africa’s Kingfisher FM is broadcasting from it’s new building including new studios this week. Kingfisher FM has been on the air since the mid 90’s bringing a message of hope and inspiration to every person who lives in Port Elizabeth and the scenic Nelson Mandela Bay.

The NAB is petitioning the FCC to allow FMs using digital radio technology to boost their power.
On Monday the FCC said reported it will accept comments regarding the issue. Proponents say changes are needed to improve HD Radio coverage. Currently stations are allowed to operate at ten percent of analog power, with some exceptions.
Opening comments are due to the FCC by January 12, 2023.

Caught in a blizzard on Christmas Eve, estranged mother and daughter Journee (Naturi Naughton) and Nia (Lorea Turner) are forced to take refuge inside a church where a handful of also-trapped parishioners are reeling from the cancellation of their annual holiday concert. The spirit of the season takes hold as Journee and Nia weather the wintry storm together with the other churchgoers, including handsome youth pastor Adam and a heavenly music teacher, who motivate the mother and daughter to reconcile their differences through music, faith, and love
The premiere will be Saturday, December 10th at 8PM ET. Executive producer Kirk Franklin also stars in the film.
