WCSG/Grand Rapids continues to score #1 Nielsen numbers in the market. Most recently in the Oct survey WCSG registered a 7.9 (AQH Share for Persons 12+, Mon-Sun 6AM-Mid) good for its 5th #1 in a row. The monthly trends look like this – 7.1-7.4-7.1-7.9-9.1-9.3-8.9-7.9.

McDonald’s USA is again presenting a special homecoming themed holiday experience on the final stop of the 16th annual Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour (ICGT). Through this longstanding partnership McDonalds is supporting the intergenerational celebration of faith, culture and excellence. Hosted by gospel singer Lonnie Hunter, the event will feature powerful performances by award-winning and celebrated gospel artists including Jekalyn Carr, Anthony Hamilton, Donald Lawrence, Smokie Norful, Kierra Sheard-Kelly, and Samoht, with special appearances by social media comedians.
The 16th Annual Inspiration Celebration® Gospel Tour Holiday Experience will take place at the New Light Church in Houston, Texas. Free tickets are available online. The show will air on REVOLT TV on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT, and will be available to stream on the REVOLT TV YouTube channel on Sunday, Dec. 18 at 5 p.m. ET/4 p.m. CT.
Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday and many stations will special fundraisers. WBNH/Pekin, IL is asking Caterpillar employees and retirees to give a gift sowing into the radio ministry. Through December 12, Caterpillar is generously offering a 2:1 gift match for gifts from full or part-time Caterpillar, Solar & Progress Rail employees, or U.S.-based Caterpillar retirees up to $500. Every $500 gift becomes $1500.
American Family Radio (AFR) morning host JJ Jasper was joined on the air by his daughter Teagan last week, as he did special shows leading up to Thanksgiving Day.
JJ says, “My 7 year old daughter Teagan is a twin, she’s the only person in our family who is left handed, and she’s in the second grade. Teagan is beautiful, smart, and she loves Jesus! So proud of this sweet girl.”
