Kinship Radio/Mankato, MN is “officially” open for business as it celebrated the move of its offices and studios from Blue Earth to Mankato, MN. Ambassadors from the Greater Mankato Growth joined members of the Kinship Radio Network’s Board of Directors and staff (pictured) for the ribbon cutting ceremony in the lobby of what was once a Christian bookstore.
Kinship Radio owns and operates eight full-power stations and fourteen translators serving Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa.
SRN News—the 24/7 national news service of the Salem Radio Network (SRN)—will provide live coverage of the U.S. Senate debate between Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz and Democrat John Fetterman starting at 8PM Eastern time on Tuesday, October 25th. The exclusive one hour debate will be held at the WHTM abc27 studio in Harrisburg, PA and will be moderated by WHTM news anchor Dennis Owens and WPXI-TV anchor Lisa Sylvester.
“The Pennsylvania Senate race is shaping up as the pivotal contest in determining which political party will control the U.S. Senate for the next two years,” says Tom Tradup, VP/News & Talk Programming for SRN. “Lt. Governor Fetterman’s unfortunate stroke has raised questions about his ability to carry out duties in Washington, and his squaring off with Dr. Oz Tuesday night is drawing nationwide interest.”
SRN News will feed the Oz/Fetterman debate to affiliates via the network’s longform news channel; affiliates of SRN’s companion 24/7 service TOWNHALL News will be able to access the broadcast via Salem’s XDS channel.
The live Oz/Fetterman debate is part of SRN News commitment to keep affiliates updated on Breaking News 365 days a year.
With the recent radio success of his new single, ‘Child Of The King’, Joseph Habedank has released the most #1 songs on the Singing News chart as a soloist.
“Radio has so many choices when it comes to what music to program each day,” shares Habedank. “Southern Gospel has been blessed with some of the greatest talent out there, with the most important message to proclaim, and I’m honored that radio would support my music. I’ve been privileged to create music and write with the top songwriters in the field. I can’t wait to see what God has in store as we move forward!”
Previous releases from Joseph Habedank that have topped the Singing News charts include the first single from the Dove Award winning project, Change Is Coming, entitled ‘Religion Isn’t Working,’ as well as ‘Goliath’ and ‘Shame On Me.’ In addition to four #1 songs, radio has honored Habedank with several Top 10 and Top 5 singles.
