KTSY/Boise is celebrating morning show host Dave Arthur’s retirement at an on-air party live from a coffee shop this Friday, January 12, from 6-10 AM.

Arthur joined the KTSY team in 2011 hosting pre-recorded middays from Portland, OR.  Then, in 2011, Arthur and his family returned to Boise to anchor the morning show.  That started a 12-year run. Most recently, Arthur trained Tristi Hendrick and moving forward, Tristi will be the solo anchor of the KTSY morning show. At KTSY Dave has erved in may capacities including music director, program director, sounding board for GM Brian Yeager, cheerleader for the whole team, and consummate prankster (you can ask Brian about the time the refrigerator got moved to block Brian in the restroom!).  After spending time off the air dealing with health challenges, Arthur and his wife decided it was time for Dave to refocus and get off the grind of getting up so early.

Dave will continue the voice tracking work he does for the Positive Life Radio network, KSLT/Rapid City and the daily morning show he does with his wife, Shauna for KEEH/Spokane (Shine 104-9).
