Salem Media has finalized an agreement to sell WTWD/Tampa (910) and its FM translator in the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater market to Solmart Media for $700,000. As part of this transaction, Solmart Media has placed a $70,000 deposit into an escrow account. This sale will result in the dissolution of the “Faith Talk 570-910” simulcast on WTBN/Tampa and WTWD.

KAXL/Bakersfield (Life FM) PD Matt Pelishek checks in with HisAir. Matt says on their podcast “Consider It Joy” they addressed stereotypes that Christian Radio & music are accused of (too repetitive, same 10 songs, cheesy & unoriginal) and invited KLJY/St Louis (99.1 Joy FM) PD Mike Couchman as guest to talk about it.
