Christian Voice Magazine calls him “Christian music’s most beloved radio personality. Brant Hansen’s latest book, “Life is Hard, God is Good, Let’s Dance,” became available Jan. 16. It centers on the concept of joy. Despite circumstances, a deep sense of well-being is not only possible but promised for those who follow Christ.

“Discipleship makes sense,” Hansen recently told Baptist Press. “Doing the stuff Jesus said to do results in being a different kind of person. It’s an ongoing process for all of us, but one I’ve really learned from in the last three to four years.”

Salem Media Group says it is selling property in Camarillo, CA that the company’s headquarters was located at until 2021. Selling price is more than $6 million. Funds will be used to pay down debt. Salem relocated headquarters to Irving, TX in 2021 but still has offices located on CA and will lease the space from the new owner for $500,000 annually.

WKAO/Ashland, KY (Walk FM), part of the  Positive Alternative Radio family of stations welcomed a crowd of about 10,000 to the Charleston Civic Center on Friday, January 26th, for Winter Jam. Listeners made Butterfly hugs at the station’s event table to send to others needing prayer and encouragement.

”The team also met listeners and donors on the venue’s concourse, giving away station swag, taking pictures, and sharing the station’s mission to create and deliver experiences that inspire people to live passionately for Jesus Christ.

The Awakening Foundation announces two K-LOVE Live at Red Rocks and Air1 Worship Now Live at Red Rocks, for three special nights on August 5th-7th, 2024. The 2nd Annual Air1 Worship Now Live at Red Rocks will take place on August 5th followed by the 4th Annual K-LOVE Live at Red Rocks on August 6th and 7th for three nights at Red Rocks.

HisAir is sorry to report the passing of longtime KFNW/Fargo (Life 97.9) Chief Engineer Greg Schmitke.  Greg served at KFNW for over 25 years. Please keep his family and the KFNW staff in your prayers.


HisAir FLASHBACK – Jan 28, 2020 – After nearly 33 years serving as WCIC/Peoria Station Manager, Dave Brooks will be stepping down from his full-time role and transitioning into a consulting role with the station. The change will be in effect Feb 1st and will allow Dave more opportunity to focus on worship ministry with his wife, Donna, and son, Wes.
