Tampa based The JOY FM gas gone on the air from their new Georgia signal (97.9 (W250BC in Atlanta/GA. Radio Training Network (RTN) operators of The JOY FM acquired the signal in a $2.45 million deal three station deal with Cumulus Media in May this year.
The The JOY FM has had an Atlanta “rimshot” signal with WVFJ/Greenville, GA (93.3) for nearly 20 years. The new signal covers metro Atlanta.
The RTN/Cumulus deal in May also included 93.3 WWFF/Huntsville, and 100.5 WWFN/Florence.
Encouragement Media Group Lift Worship has gone on the air in Dallas at 95.5 HD.

The KCMS Afternoon Drive Voice Talent is responsible for improving and maintaining ratings in the Seattle market, with an ability to communicate with the audience in the targeted demographic. Be personable on the air and in person at broadcast functions. Provide a general knowledge of the following equipment to be used: microphones, broadcast boards, telephone recording systems, commercial voicing software and audio delivery systems. Southern Gospel KWFC/Springfield afternoon hosts Runn & Nancy Brooks spent time on the air talking family, children, grandmama cooking, and sharing lots memories at the live broadcast on the porch at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO this week. The 2026 Southern Gospel Picnic at Silver Dollar City is 11 days of Southern Gospel music and events.
Paul R. Hollinger, who spent decades in top leadership roles at WDAC/Lancaster, PA has passed away. Hollinger died at age 91 on Saturday at his home. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Sylvia, their two children and several grandchildren.

Worship 24/7 has gone on the air in New York City. WNVU licensed to New Rochelle, New York (93.5) is operated by Hope Media Group and programs is Spanish Christian “Vida Unida” Worship 24/7 is heard on it’s HD3 channel.
Hope Media Group (HMG) and Worship 24/7 announced an agreement to unite in June this year. Worship 24/7 launched as an online station only in June 2019, and has added over the air signals in Portland, OR, Tacoma, WA, Spokane, WA, Bend, OR, Amarillo, TX and four additional signals in Iowa and Georgia HMG acquired WNVU in Aug 2023 from Whitney Global Media owner William O’Shaughnessy. WayFM is carried on WNVU HD2.

Brooke, of the WJQK/Grand Rapids (Joy 99) Tommy and Brooke Morning Show, returned to the show 7 weeks after suffering a stroke.
Brooke shared, “I cannot thank West Michigan enough for the cards, notes, letters and most of all, prayers. It’s a humbling thing to not be the daily voice of encouragement and to be the recipient of SO MUCH LOVE and cheering up!”
