Moody Radio has hired Jim Mitchell as their new Director of Media Content.

Jim told HisAir, “I’m extremely humbled to join the amazing Moody Global Media team as the new Director of Content. I also could not be more excited to help carry on a legacy of content creation anchored in gospel truth.”

American General Media has filed to donate KGEO/Wasco, CA (1180) to Skyride Unlimited. The Wasco-Greenacres, CA-licensed station is currently off the air. Skyride Unlimited owns KAXL/Bakersfield (Life FM) (88.3).

Church Planters of America has filed to donate eight full-power stations and an FM translator to Old Paths Radio. The stations are WJHW/Mayodan, NC (89.5); KWOP/Fort Dodge, IA (88.7); KGIW/Pilot Mountain, NC (89.7); WGHW/Lockwoods Folly Town, NC (88.1); KTUT/Frankfort, SD (89.9); WOPR/Madison, NC (88.1); WWFJ/East Fayetteville, NC (88.1); and a construction permit for a new Class A licensed to McLeansville, NC at 88.9 FM.

Full Potential Ministry has closed a $75,000 deal to buy KDTI/Rochester Hills, MI (90.3) from K-LOVE Inc.

Remembering The LifeFM Network founder Bob McClure who would have been 100 today. McClure founded the Dove Award-winning listener-supported radio ministry The LifeFM Network Foundation which includes 28 radio stations (and counting) from Illinois to Florida.

The Hibbard Group announce the hiring of broadcasting veteran Mark Daniels. Mark will serve as Director of Client Services. Daniels’ on-air career began in 1980 in his hometown of York, PA. In 1994, he joined WFIL/Philadelphia as Program Director and host of The Mark Daniels Show on both radio and television. His Christian broadcast experience also included morning personality for Family Radio from 2018-2020, Broadcast and Digital Media Director at the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals.

Free North Korea Radio (FNKR) has made some changes to more effectively reach North Koreans with The Gospel. FNKR is now combining secular programming with gospel programming in order to attract more listeners. In the past FNKR would transmit regular news and Gospel programming separately. However comments stated that because North Koreans have been brainwashed into believing that God does not exist, independent broadcasting programs in North Korea is impractical because hearing the Gospel message alone was impossible for them to comprehend.

Now FNKR concentrates on informing North Korean listeners that their lives are not separated from God’s love and that God’s grace is incorporated into their lives and all they do.
