Congrats to the team at 91.3 WCSG/Grand Rapids for scoring another #1 in the market (Nielsen Feb 2023).

Consultant Brian Wright tells HisAir, “Their focus on showcasing their listeners and creating memorable relationships with them continues to shine. They are very good at what they do consistently! It is wonderful to know how many lives WCSG is impacting!”

HisAir wants to recognize one of America’s great Christian LPFM stations as KPAR-LP/Dickinson, ND (103.7 The Connection) celebrates their five year anniversary.

KPAR-LP originated in the mid-2000s in the basement of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and was mostly satellite talk radio. In 2017, a group of people worked together to change the station’s format to Contemporary Christian Radio with unique programming. The frequency also changed to 103.7 and “The Connection” went on the air March 16, 2018.

“I hear regularly from people how much they love our station. People enjoy hearing hope and encouragement, especially in a world full of negativity and division,” said Heidi Larson, General Manager. “We are more than just great music – we are a ministry. We are committed to sharing the love of Christ with the Dickinson area. We also bring in concerts and other family events, promote non-profit events, and pray for various needs in our community.”

“There are so many stories of God’s provision and how He has used the station to minister to the Dickinson area. God has used this radio station to reach our community during a pandemic, a state-wide drought, grassland fires, blizzards and more. The Connection is a non-commercial station, non-profit and not affiliated with a large media group. They rely on donations and fundraisers to meet the operating budget. In addition to the over-the-air signal, the station also streams online, allowing The Connection to reach anyone, anywhere.”

On Thursday, March 16, the station held an event for their listeners and donors to commemorate what God has done. The event started with a dessert social, then, after a brief presentation on the station, they were inspired by speaker Ryan Botner of Washburn, ND. Botner shared his story of how he hit rock bottom and lost everything after turning to alcohol and drugs. After a coma caused by an overdose, he found God. God delivered him from his addiction and turned his life around. He encouraged attendees to have a heart of a servant.

In the wake of the Manhattan grand jury indictment of Donald J. Trump, Salem Radio Network host Mike Gallagher this morning announced he is immediately marketing “Free Trump” t-shirts which will be emblazoned with our 45th President’s “mug shot” once it occurs on Tuesday.

Tom Tradup, VP/News & Talk Programming at SRN, observes: “Mike Gallagher has tapped into the rage all conservatives are feeling today, and his Free Trump t-shirts are a positive, peaceful way for listeners to protest this sad day in American history.” Tradup adds that the moment Gallagher announced the t-shirts, “his studio phones began ringing so hard they were practically levitating.”

President Trump is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday in Manhattan District Court, and the moment his “mug shot” is released, the Mike Gallagher Show t-shirts will add it and then fulfill all orders received.

Newsboys, is releasing “He Lives”, the first of multiple digital singles they intend to release in 2023, in anticipation of their latest recording project.

“He Lives is such a powerful song about the resurrection of our Savior.” says Michael Tait, lead singer.  “Having sung it at church while we are home from the road, I knew it was one to include as we put this next project together, and to have it feature our friend and touring mate Adam Agee as he joins the band, it is the perfect song to celebrate this Easter season.”

Newsboys are welcoming long-time friend and touring mate Adam Agee to the group.  Agee, the founding member of pop-punk band Stellar Kart, before taking the helm of Audio Adrenaline in 2014, has been touring with the band for the last several years as a solo artist and speaker on behalf of Child Fund International, the long-time charity partner with Newsboys.

“I’ve been best friends with these guys for most of my career and have been able to spend the last several years on tour with them…,” said Agee.  “I am very excited about this next season together as friends and now band-mates, and what God calls us to do with it!”
