WBGL/Champaign & WCIC/Peoria (New Life Radio) evening personality Melody Miller announces Friday, July 15th, will be her last day with the stations. Due to her husband receiving a great promotion with his company they are moving to Raleigh, NC. WBGL PD Ryan Springer tells HisAir.Net, “starting Monday, July 18th, Ginee Scott (previously WBGL overnights) will begin voicetracking the 7pm-Midnight time slot on WBGL. (WCIC will handle evenings separately). Ginee is such a valuable part of this ministry – going back to WBGL DAY 1 in 1982, so awesome! She’s become a familiar voice to our listeners over the years and I’m thrilled that they’ll be able to transition so smoothly to a voice they already know and love. Little known trivia: Evenings is the only shift left on WBGL she hasn’t done. Not anymore! :).
Melody tells HisAir.Net, “I’m going to be working full-time from my home studio doing voiceovers and voicetracking and am very excited to see what doors God is going to open in this new season.” She can be reached at radiomelodymiller@gmail.com.
WFFH/Nashville (94 FM The Fish) Promotions Director Ben Lawson will exit the station at the end of July. He will be the Vice President of Administration for Rescue1Global, a non-profit organization.
