news-iconWNWC/Madison (Faith Radio) is now also on the air at 104.7 FM. The FCC has granted Northwestern Media permission to rebroadcast  Faith Radio AM 1190 at 104.7 FM.   The new Faith 104.7 FM  will have a potential listening audience of almost 400,000 people and will provide the Madison metro with the same programming heard on AM 1190 but without the reduction in power at night. 


There’s a new low power FM on the air in Houston. KLJJ-LP (101.5 Jesus League Radio) went on the air with Classic Christian 70’s 80’s and 90’s 2000’s on Friday May 13th. Owner Mark Green says the stations signal covers a population of 400,000 on the north side of Houston. 


Tampa CCM “The Faith 104.7” that currently airs on the WRBQ/Tampa (Q104.7) HD2 channel will soon be heard on a translator at 103.1 licensed to New Port Richey, FL. Tom Taylors “Now” Newsletter reports the translator is slightly northwest of Tampa, and owner Beasley acknowledges that its signal “exceeds the 60 dBu contour of WRBQ, but that’s okay, because the area outside the contour “is over water, which is allowable under FCC rules.  Cornerstone Community Radio is the seller at a price of $125,000 cash.


May 24, 2016 marked the start of the 18th year of broadcast ministry for TRUNEWS with host Rick Wiles. TRUNEWS is a news source that reports, analyzes, and comments on global events and trends with a conservative, orthodox Christian worldview. Starting with a $7,500 donation in May 1999 to launch the first radio program the first broadcast was on May 24, 1999. The original name was ‘America’s Hope’. The message was simple: Jesus Christ is America’s only hope.


WRDR/Freehold Township (The Bridge Christian Radio) has booked Evangelist, teacher, author, and radio host Greg Laurie for “Bridgefest 2016” on June 24-25th in Ocean Grove, NJ. Bridgefest consistently draws between 5,000-10,000 each summer. The two day event includes teaching throughout the day, a youth rally, and the evening concert featuring Citizens and Saints, Phil Wickham, and Greg Laurie.
