Former iHeartMedia employee Army veteran Darryl Badley Jr. is launching a new online station called Christian Warrior Radio on Memorial Day. Christian Warrior Radio will be a platform dedicated to veterans, their spouses and those still serving in the military. Badley who is a partially paralyzed disabled Army veteran, was recently furloughed from his job at iHeartMedia says the new station will feature uplifting Christian music, storytelling by veterans, and some sports, news and current events.

Christian Warrior Radio goes live at 6 a.m. May 25 at www.CWRadio.net on social media and through an app for Apple or Android devices.


Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker has revoked Salem’s WIND/Chicago (560 The Answer) morning co-host (and former Chicago TV reporter) Amy Jacobson’s access to his daily press briefings. The reason given by the Governors office is that Jacobson not an objective reporter. After she spoke at a rally opposing policies on the states shut-down in the coronavirus crisis she received an email telling her that an impartial reporter would not have attended the rally and she would no longer be invited to participate in press conferences.

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today that an estimated 40,000 industry professionals have accessed the inaugural NAB Show Express since the online event launched on May 13. Participants from around the world engaged with content through social media streams, partner programs and directly via nabshowexpress.com. In total, participants consumed more than 1.6 million minutes of video content via the event’s broadcast channels, on-demand videos and social media streams over the past week.

Global Media Outreach announces as of Monday 5/18 at 2:40 p.m. (CST), its two billionth Gospel presentation took place.  Global Media Outreach (GMO) is an internet ministry that was formed to present the good news of Jesus Christ online.
