KSBJ/Houston names Capitol Music Group National Promotion Manager Jordan Smith director of promotions.
Salem announced today the promotion of Heath Garlutzo to General Manager of Salem Colorado Springs. Heath has been the General Sales Manager of Salem’s Phoenix sales team for the past 6 years. Overall, his radio experience spans 22 years, including experience as National Sales Manager for CBS Radio. Heath has a been a critical part of creating a steady and successful team in Phoenix.
Also at Salem Washington, DC VP/GM David Ruleman plans to retire at the end of June 2017. In addition to his Washington leadership role, Ruleman has served for many years as a Regional Vice President of Operations with current oversight of Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Boston, and DC.

The producers of Unlocking the Bible and Moody Radio present the Easter radio drama based on Colin Smith’s book, Heaven How I Got Here on Moody-1 with a Good Friday release at 8—9:54 p.m. CDT. This two x 54-minute hour radio drama is a first person fictional account of the conversion of the thief on the cross as read by actor Stephen Baldwin.
This November, “FamilyLife Today” marks 25 years of broadcasting. In anticipation of that celebration, Dennis Rainey says the ministry’s plan is to share each month, leading up to November, a few excerpts from classic broadcasts making up the series titled, 25 Years of Radio.
