Our COVID-19 executive order meant no volunteers and social distancing between staff…but GOD! The economy was uncertain and many people out of work…but GOD! People aren’t on the road as much so who knows when they will be listening…but GOD!  WNFR reached its complete need for this spring during Share Hope was a huge testament to that. We’re praising God for 402 families represented and over $180,000 given! HopeFM listeners rallied behind this ministry to ensure that Hope continues to be shared in our communities.”

WGRC/Lewisburg, PA “Growing Together” annual fundraiser with the Central PA Food Bank raised funds to feed families April 21-23. The goal was to feed 250 families. Joe Arthur, Executive Director of Central PA Food Bank says, “With the crisis, our dollars are being stretched to feed families.” Central Susquehanna Valley stepped up to the fundraising goal and exceeded it feeding 370 families!

WGRC morning show host/marketing director Stephanie Hines tells HisAir, “WGRC uses the annual fundraiser to help cover expenses for the station. With the Covid-19 crisis occurring during this time, the partnership with the food bank made sense. Half of the dollars raised during the three-day period are going to the food bank. Arthur explained it costs to feed a family of three for about a week.”
